About the Role

We are looking for a Network System Administrator who can balance hands-on IT support with modern automation and DevOps practices. This role is responsible for managing our IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and building efficient, secure systems to scale with the company. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable troubleshooting a laptop issue, provisioning accounts, or writing automation scripts to streamline workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage accounts, permissions, licensing, and security configurations.
  • Device Management: Configure, flash, and deploy laptops and other hardware; maintain device lifecycle processes.
  • Corporate IT Infrastructure: Build, administer, and maintain networks, servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud services.
  • Security & Compliance: Monitor alerts/logs, respond to incidents, ensure data security, and maintain backups.
  • Performance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose outages, resolve performance bottlenecks, and investigate system issues.
  • Access Provisioning: Manage account creation, permissions, and access control across SaaS and on-prem systems.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with third-party providers for hardware, software, and networking needs.
  • Project Delivery: Support IT/DevOps projects, ensuring on-time and successful delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Network/System Administrator, IT Support Specialist, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Familiarity with device imaging, configuration, and deployment.
  • Solid understanding of network infrastructure, virtualization, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability across systems, hardware, and networks.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
  • Must possess current CCNA or RHCE, and current IAT II compliant certification.

Preferred Skills

  • DevOps & Automation: Experience with Ansible, Packer, scripting (Python, Bash), and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Software Development: Exposure to Golang, Python, or other modern programming languages.
  • Security Monitoring: Experience reviewing alerts/logs, troubleshooting incidents, and implementing security improvements.
  • Network Engineering: Skilled in building and administering networks, VPNs, and virtualization environments.
  • Systems Administration: Familiarity with Linux and Windows server administration.
  • Compliance & Security Frameworks: Implementation of CMMC compliance requirements, NIST 800-171, and related cybersecurity standards.

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Security Software Engineer to join our team in developing advanced network traffic analysis solutions. This role focuses on designing and implementing high-performance software for various network environments, emphasizing real-time packet inspection, security monitoring, and performance optimization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network protocols, software development, and emerging technologies like machine learning for traffic classification.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement software components for network traffic analysis and monitoring systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in systems programming (C, C++, Java, Rust, or Golang) with a deep understanding of memory management, low-level optimization, and multi-threaded programming.
  • Network and application performance and/or security expertise (Deep Packet Inspection, Intrusion Detection & Protection, QoS, QoE, Firewall).
  • Extensive knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/S, DNS, DHCP, and other relevant protocols.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise network architectures.

Database Engineer - Remote

Whether in the cloud or on-premise, you’ll be responsible for crafting systems that deliver high performance, scalability, and reliability for mission-critical applications. This role offers the opportunity to own database infrastructure end-to-end, from designing efficient data models to optimizing performance on specialized ultra-high-performance hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement high-performance relational database systems for cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Design and optimize systems to handle large-scale, concurrent workloads with low latency and high availability.
  • Develop and maintain strategies for database replication, partitioning, and scaling to ensure fault tolerance and seamless growth.
  • Tune database configurations, queries, and indexes for peak performance under heavy workloads.
  • Build and automate robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and business continuity.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience designing and managing relational database systems in production environments.
  • Proven expertise in optimizing database performance and managing systems under high-concurrency workloads.
  • Strong understanding of database internals, execution plans, and advanced query optimization techniques.
  • Experience designing and maintaining highly available systems, including replication and failover mechanisms.
  • Proficiency with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible) for database management and deployment.
  • Hands-on experience with both cloud-native database solutions and on-premise hardware optimized for performance.
  • Familiarity with distributed database systems and scaling strategies for large datasets.
  • A systematic approach to monitoring, incident response, and maintaining production-grade reliability.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and mentor less experienced team members.

Linux Systems Engineer - Remote

At Cyberspatial, we design and build systems that protect critical infrastructure and national security. As a Systems Engineer Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience with Linux-based systems, focusing on performance, security, and compliance. This internship offers an opportunity to learn how secure, reliable, and high-performance systems are designed, built, and maintained in real-world environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in customizing and configuring Linux systems for performance, security, and compliance.
  • Support product security efforts, including vulnerability scanning, compliance tracking, and patch management.
  • Contribute to performance tuning and system-level configurations (CPU, memory, I/O, etc.).
  • Help maintain documentation for system processes, security policies, and compliance workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering mentors to troubleshoot system issues and propose improvements.
  • Stay curious and up to date with the latest Linux security practices and performance techniques.

Qualifications

  • Current college student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
  • Familiarity with Linux (coursework, labs, or personal projects).
  • Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or Go).
