Next-Gen Timeline

October 12, 2023
Infinite-zoom engine and upload improvements.
Timeline Upgrade
  • New infinite-zoom engine: The Timeline panel now supports hundreds of simultaneously visible datapoints at all zoom levels. You can transition from several years to several seconds of visible traffic and back again, with a high-def view of protocol volumes over time at every step along the way.
  • Sorting: Now defaults to bytes transferred, facilitating visibility of the most active protocols.
  • Events: Now adjust their time window to overlap less for cleaner display.
  • Optimizations: The timeline also now loads even faster, and session blocks have been visually simplified to help identify points of interest.
Upload Improvements
  • Upload resiliency: Uploads can now run for multiple hours without encountering timeout errors.
  • Upload management: Users can now cancel uploads while they are processing.
  • User interface updates: Users are now informed when a Project fails to be created.
General Enhancements
  • Credentials table: Country information now appears when hovering over a flag icon within the Credentials table.
  • GreyNoise tags: Users can now search the Inventory and External Hosts tables for GreyNoise tag matches.
  • Zone tooltips: Network panel tooltips for Subnet and VLAN groups now provide a visual summary.
