How to add PCAPs to a compressed archive

Compressed archive files are a great way to ingest multiple files into a single Project. Compressed archive files may contain either a collection of bro/zeek files, a collection of network collection files, or a collection of all supported file types (including archives of archives). The information below will help you create a compressed archive file on the desired operating system.

How to splice PCAPs

Network collection files can often be 100 MB+ which makes them slow to load in some programs or rejected from some programs because the file is too large. Splicing or splitting large PCAP files into several smaller ones may help in this situation.

Navigating the network map

Hosts within the topology are grouped into zones. Each zone may contain a VLAN and/or a subnet. Additionally, all external hosts are grouped into their own zone within the topology.

Creating and deleting projects

A project is created from one or more files within the Uploads panel.

How to add additional files to your project

The Import panel allows users to add multiple collection files into a single project. This allows users to avoid the need to create a compressed bundle file.
